Castle Theater

Due to HVAC issues, this concert will now take place in Castle Theater. Tickets will indicate McCoy Studio Theater as the venue, but all patrons will be seated in comparable locations in Castle Theater. There is no need for ticket exchanges for those who have already purchased tickets.


The Mana Music Quartet (Photo above l-r: Joshua Nakazawa, cello; Eric Silberger, violin; Mann-Wen Lo, violin; Duane Padilla, viola) presents music from their spectacular 2021 Nā Hōkū Hano Hano award-winning Best Instrumental Album Queen Lili`uokalani.


This first and only live presentation of their album will also include Dvorak’s opus 96 American String Quartet featuring special guest violinist Kisa Uradomo.

Pre-concert entertainment will be provided by the Maui String Trio in the Yokouchi Pavilion. 
 

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to complications from COVID-19, the Quartet for this concert will include cellist Alex Greenbaum performing in place of Joshua Nakazawa.  And violinist Mann-Wen Lo will not be performing in the concert.  The evening's guest artist, violinist Kisa Uradomo will perform in her place.  The Dvorak piece will be performed in place of the originally scheduled Brahms' epic String Quintet No. 2 Op 111.
