Alongside the many entertainment and fine arts events offered at Maui Arts & Cultural Center, the MACC is also an arts education site, serving all ages from pre-school to adult, to enhancing arts-integrated education in schools and professional development for teachers. The MACC celebrates more than two decades as a Partner in Education with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and the Hawai'i State Department of Education - Maui District, offering many arts education opportunities for both students and teachers.
MACC's comprehensive arts education programs include:
CanDo! Days: starting winter 2020-21 and for the 2021-2022 school year, the MACC will continue to offer virtual CanDo! Days
Performances: the MACC Education Department will continue to offer virtual mini-performances or 'Motivational Moments' for the 2021-22 school year
Residencies: the MACC's artist residency program will be offered virtually and will focus on a 'Youth Poet Laureate Program'
Cross Currents Summer Program: the program will return / Stay tuned for more details

FOR TEACHING ARTISTS:
