MACC's Education Programs

Alongside the many entertainment and fine arts events offered at Maui Arts & Cultural Center, the MACC is also an arts education site, serving all ages from preschool to adult, to enhancing arts-integrated education in schools and professional development for teachers. The MACC celebrates more than two decades as a Partner in Education with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and the Hawai'i State Department of Education - Maui District, offering many arts education opportunities for both students and teachers. 


MACC's comprehensive arts education programs include:



  • CanDo! Days Arts Integration Field Trips are offered BOTH In-person and virtually,  along with a week of instruction in 'Ōlelo Hawaii
  • Student Performances are back In-person and we highlight our virtual archive of 'Motivational Moments', or virtual mini-performances recording by Hawaii’s top artists
  • Artist Residencies are offered  in-person and will focus on a 'Youth Poet Laureate Program' for 5th grade and 9th grade
  • Cross Currents Summer Program will return in June



  • Professional Development Workshops: the MACC will continue to offer workshops during the school year.  CLICK HERE for more information.
