The MACC offers displaced families, friends and everyone in our Maui community two FREE Starry Night Cinemas August 18 & 19. The MACC will be a collecting donations for the Maui Food Bank each evening. We ask that our patrons bring needed items for those impacted by the wildfires. Donation bins will be located near the MACC's main entry gates.
Suggested emergency donation items include: rice, canned protein (pop-tops), canned meals (pop-tops), snacks, protein and breakfast bars, peanut butter, jelly, baby food, diapers, feminine hygiene products, tooth paste/tooth brush, toilet paper, paper towels
Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents another Starry Night Cinema event! Bring a low-back beach chair and/or a blanket and spread out on the lawn for a special screening of PUSS IN BOOTS - The Last Wish. Come early and enjoy preshow entertainment by Jimmy Landfair and an art activity for the kids prior to the film. You can also purchase food and drinks from local food trucks! Join us for some FREE FAMILY FUN!

About the film:
Everyone's favorite leche-loving, swashbuckling, fear-defying feline, Puss in Boots, returns in an adventure from the Shrek universe as the daring outlaw discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star on his grandest quest yet. With only one life left, Puss will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: Kitty Softpaws. In their journey they are joined by a chatty and cheerful mutt named Perro. Together, our trio of heroes will need to stay one step ahead of fairytale realm's craftiest crooks including Goldilocks Locks and the Three Bears.
