For sixty consecutive years, the Hawai‘i Craftsmen Annual Statewide Exhibition has highlighted innovation and expertise across a variety of craft media—including ceramic, wood, textile, glass, metal, and more—through an open call to artists across Hawai‘i. Selected works range from traditional forms to contemporary interpretations, where artists showcase technical skillsets, material ingenuity, intricate processes, and personal vantage points.
This edition features 98 works by 91 artists from Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, Lānaʻi, Maui, Molokai, and Oʻahu, selected from 607 entries by juror Jonathan Yukio Clark, Director of Schaefer International Gallery. For this milestone year, the exhibition takes place on two islands, debuting on O‘ahu and traveling in its entirety to Maui.
