The MACC will be collecting donations for the Maui Food Bank during this event. We ask that our patrons bring needed items for those impacted by the wildfires. Donation bins will be located near the MACC's main entry gates.

The Color Festival Hawaii is a celebration of life and the vibrancy of community, inclusive of ages and abilities. We invite you and your family to come play, create, and pay tribute to the rainbow that is Maui and Hawaiʻi, shining with the diverse colors of our connected humanity. As a part of the “Festivals of the World” event series, the Color Festival Hawaii is an annual “friend-raiser” music festival with national and local talent including live music from DJ Sweetbeets, Anthony Pfluke & Lopaka Colon, BrownChicken BrownCow StringBand, Rowdy Love Duo, Justin Morris & Co, Dr Nat & Rio Ritmo, and Po and the 4Fathers!

And don’t miss Maui’s best food trucks on-site to provide ono grindz and sweet treats throughout the day all ending in the exciting throwing of the colors!

The Color Festival Hawaii is a modern American version of a traditional Indian Holi Festival, a thousand-year-old ritual of throwing and applying of colored powders on friends and family, which gives the holiday its common name, “Festival of Colors.” Clouds of colors dancing in the wind carry the message of love and happiness across to all who participate.

Please be sure to read our EVENT RULES and TIPS before attending. And no beach chairs are allowed inside the venue. Strollers are OK but must be stored away from the audience area.
