We invite families to visit Schaefer International Gallery and experience the world of Satoru Abe!

The exhibition Satoru Abe: Reaching for the Sun features seven decades of work in sculpture, painting, and printmaking from one of Hawaiʻi’s most prominent artists. Outside of the gallery, explore art activity stations inspired by the artist’s shapes and forms: make a print with Hex Press Maui, sculpt a miniature clay tree, assemble a cut-out collage, and more!
