The exhibition Washi Transformed features nine contemporary artists who explore the astonishing potential of this traditional medium through textured surfaces, expressive sculptures, and dramatic installations. Outside the gallery, play with paper (fold, shred, print, paint) at activity stations: decorate a large paper kimono with costume artist Melody Koerber, create an embossed print with Hex Press Maui, add to your print at the watercolor station, fold and customize origami sculptures, and more!
