Families are invited to visit the gallery, meet some of the exhibiting artists, and participate in activities and maker stations that expand on the themes of community in the exhibit. These will include old-fashioned plantation games, a family photo op with frame decorating, a large-scale interactive puzzle map of Maui, stamp stations throughout the gallery, and more!

About the Sense of Place / Place of Sense Exhibit:
This exhibition explores the multi-faceted meaning of community at a critical moment of change for Maui, looking at who we are in the present time and the promise we hold for the future. The gallery space offers built environments with activated themes of history, water, land, spirituality, and people.
