Zenshin Daiko's 26th Annual Taiko Festival Concert will be a celebration of outstanding musicianship played with upbeat fun and boundless heart! A non-profit corporation dedicated to teaching taiko to children and sharing it with the community.
Since forming in 1999, Zenshin Daiko has performed in over 1,100 cultural and community events all over Maui, the neighbor islands, as well as in California, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Japan.

The Portland Shishimai Kai group he founded. Born in Japan, Eien started learning Edo Kotobuki Jishi in 2001 under the instruction of Kenny Endo, continuing to study with Kyosuke Suzuki, a longtime member of Wakayama Shachu (Nationally Designated Important Intangible Cultural Asset of Folk Arts). Since 2011, Eien has coordinated Suzuki sensei’s United States performance and instruction tours, providing translation and general assistance. He has been granted approval to teach all four parts (mai, taiko, shinobue, atarigane) of Wakayama Ryu Edo Kotobuki Jishi. An energetically positive and hopeful evening for all!
