THE MACC'S RETURN TO LIVE, IN-PERSON EVENTS

In a return to hosting live events, the MACC has maintained the commitment to the well-being of our patrons, artists, and staff. The following are the current requirements for attending MACC outdoor and indoor events. We will monitor any changes in local and state requirements and amend the policy as needed. These policies are in full compliance with current state and county COVID-related mandates.

Indoor events in Castle Theater and the McCoy Studio Theater and exhibits in the Schaefer International Gallery: all patrons are required to show proof of full vaccination (and at least 14 days have passed since the last dose of their initial vaccinations). Effective Jan 24, 2022, fully vaccinated status includes a booster shot for those eligible. (Eligibility is at least 5 months after the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine and at least 2 months after a Johnson & Johnson vaccine.) A valid matching photo ID must be presented to enter the indoor venues.

Events in the A&B Amphitheater or Yokouchi Pavilion: patrons are required to show proof of full vaccination which includes a booster shot for those eligible (as of Jan 24). (Eligibility is at least 5 months after the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine and at least 2 months after a Johnson & Johnson vaccine.) Those unvaccinated must have proof of a negative Antigen or PCR COVID-19 test (no at-home test results will be accepted) within 72 hours prior to the start of the event. Printed or digital documentation acceptable. All must show valid photo ID.

During all events and exhibits, masks are required to be worn over the nose and mouth at all time except while actively eating and drinking.

The MACC offers print-at-home ticketing for Castle Theater and McCoy Studio Theater events, so we currently require that patrons purchase their tickets online. This also enables a touchless ticket scanning process upon entry into the venue.

Please do not attend an event or exhibit if you are experiencing any unexplained COVID-19 related symptoms as listed here on the CDC website, or if you have had recent close contact with an individual who is confirmed as having COVID-19.

We have made hand sanitizer stations available, implemented new daily disinfection protocol, and increased cleaning of high-touch surfaces.

Celebrate an afternoon of great music as Maui’s own multi-award-winning Jeff Peterson, master of Hawaiian slack key guitar, and a MACC favorite performs with the Maui Pops Orchestra, conducted by Music Director James Durham.

Included on the program will be the Maui premiere of Jeff’s Concerto for Slack Key Guitar and Orchestra, Malama Aina.

The MACC Box Office is not open for window sales. Box Office hours for email and phone inquiries (808-242-SHOW) are Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

GROUP TICKETS:

A 10% discount is available for purchases of 10 or more tickets. Must be purchased together to get the discount and excludes the $22 tickets. Contact the MACC Box Office by phone (808-242-7469 Tu-F, 10am-4pm) for group ticket purchases.

COVID-RELATED POLICY FOR THIS CONCERT: All ticket holders will need to be fully vaccinated (which includes a booster shot - per Maui County's mandate as of Jan 24, 2022) with proof and valid photo ID to show for admittance. Photo of vaccination card on phones acceptable. Negative test results not accepted. Masks must be worn at all times.
