11:30 AM - Gates open / Music starts at Noon
The Color Festival Hawaiʻi is a FUNraiser and a FRIENDraiser; like IMUA - it celebrates the path forward together. Treat yourself to energetic music, amazing foods, and explosions of color as we come together to celebrate the uniqueness of each and every child and person. The throwing of colors will be accompanied by DJ Sweet Beats and live music from Silky Sister, Rabbit, Little Monarch, Shea Derrick & Full Flavor Band, Sierra, and the Gretchen Rhodes Band.
Maui’s best food trucks will also be on site to provide ono grindz and sweet treats.
Color packets will be available for sale inside the event.
The Color Festival Hawaiʻi is a modern American version of a traditional Indian Holi Festival, a thousand-year-old ritual of throwing and applying of colored powders on friends and family, which gives the holiday its common name, “Festival of Colors.” Clouds of colors dancing in the wind carry the message of love and happiness across to all who participate.
Please be sure to read our EVENT RULES and TIPS before attending. And no beach chairs are allowed inside the venue. Strollers are OK but must be stored away from the audience area.
